SWS Sponsors Short Course: Critical Thinking in Aquifer Test Interpretation
Our partner, Oak Environmental Inc. is offering a one day Aquifer Testing short course ‘Critical Thinking in the Interpretation of Aquifer Test’ instructed by Christopher Neville of S.S. Papadopulos and Associates. This course will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on March 8th, 2013.
The course material includes discussion and lectures on topics such as the interpretation of slug tests, testing wells with skins, partially submerged well screens, the foundations of pumping test analysis and derivative analysis.
About the instructor:
Mr. Christopher J. Neville, M.Sc., P.Eng. is the developer and instructor of the course. Mr. Neville is a Senior Hydrogeologist and Associate with S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario. He was trained as a civil engineer and hydrogeologist and has over twenty years of experience in solving groundwater problems. His specialization is in the interpretation of hydrogeologic data, and the development and application of analytical and numerical techniques to analyze groundwater problems in complex granular and fractured porous media.
